Activities

We have a number of activities during the winter months from training at Peterlee leisure centre on a night this includes beginers to fully qualified, the training involves underwater training of upto two meters deep, where you will go through breathing tecniques also buddie breathing, hand signals and saftey training.

The club also holds a sponsored boxing day dip at Seham Harbour docks at 11am, Boxingday 2004 was our most sucssesfull to date with more partisapents than ever.

The club likes to promote local charity work for people in the area and for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute).

In the spring and summer months we take diving parties out to the north east coast to explore sea life and wrecks up and down the coast.

The club is involved in assisting in saftey duties at sailing events (for a donation fee) this involves helping capsised yachts out of the water.

Equipment @ Training

To start training with the club we will help you as much as we can with equipment, at first we will be able to let you use our equipment to see if you like diving. If you would like to purchase your own equipment we will help you choose what is right for you.

We have air cylinder filling equipment on site so that you do not have to lug the tanks to a store to refill them.

We Have a 6 meter Rib boat with a 125bhp yamaha engine.

The clubs facilities are a lockup for the Rib, a lockup for the equipment and a classroom for training.
